Measuring only 13.5 square miles and located just minutes from downtown San Diego, this enchanted island has it all – beaches, parks, numerous recreational activities, highly rated schools, top notch municipal services and a wonderful climate, making our city an ideal location to visit, live, work and play. Although frequently referred to as an island, Coronado is actually a peninsula connected to San Diego to the east by the San Diego-Coronado Bridge and to Imperial Beach to the south by State Highway 75.
